Finding Put It In order was a lifesaver. Dealing with the loss of a loved one is stressful. Sarah came in and assessed our needs, created a plan, and executed with compassion, clear direction and a realistic goal to complete the difficult tasks. From downsizing to eliminating paperwork and clutter to organizing paperwork and space, she is a master. Sarah is focused, reliable, respectable and one of the hardest working people I have ever met. I recommend her to anyone I know looking for all aspects of organizing help. Thank you Sarah!
Susan I am an Organizational Consultant who enjoys helping her clients decide what to keep, toss, sell and/or donate. I understand the joys of life with children, traveling and working. When it comes to all that stuff, where and when do you start? I have a passion for organizing. I will provide consulting services to assist people in organizing their household. Services include cleaning up clutter. organizing files. organizing moves and etc. All services are provided at your home. all at your convenience.
Let’s clear the clutter from your life and lets put it in order together! Sarah really has a gift for organizing, prioritizing, suggesting what to keep, what to toss, what to donate. She's also very knowledgeable with the proper steps to take to get rid of toxic materials, microwaves etc. Sarah knows her business, is highly efficient and affordable. My experience with her has been great! Kathryn October 2017 Sarah arrives promptly, really looks at things holistically and as an overall system, and helps you to identify easy, cheap ways of organizing better. I appreciate that she's willing to either do it all herself or have you join in so you're part of the solution. I need various areas of my home organized and systems put in place that will be easy to maintain. Sarah has been very helpful in focusing me and the work effort, and helping me to see things in a way that I never was able to before. I very much appreciate her guidance and suggestions! Kerri September 2017 Before working with Sarah from “Put It In Order” I was procrastinating with my newborn bedroom and my office. I have started with my baby’s bedroom but the task was not easy. I had to transfer lots of my books in the office, and get rid of a lot of paper that were in the office. Today, I’m in love with my office, no more dining room table! It’s so much easier to concentrate on my business. My baby’s bedroom is so awesome, well organized, and lots of room to run around for the little one. If you have a dream, to organize your rooms, don’t delay, really! Call Sarah in a heartbeat. She’ll come up with a plan for you as she did for me, so beautifully. Marina September 2017 I have nothing but praise for Sarah. She is very dedicated, prompt and efficient. She is also very pleasant to work with. She encourages you to make decisions about your stuff, but doesn't make you feel guilty about wanting to keep certain things. She is encouraging, insightful and not at all judgmental. If you've been thinking about hiring a professional organizer, call Sarah today. You won't be disappointed! I had accumulated clutter in certain areas of my house and was having trouble tackling it on my own. Hiring Sarah to help me with it was one of BEST decisions I have made. Sarah is extremely hard-working and efficient. We worked side-by-side for blocks of time and made so much more progress than I ever would have made on my own. Seeing the results has inspired me to want to do more! Kristin September 2017 She was thorough and organized. She knew what charitable organization would accept the contributed goods. She called for a pickup or dropped off contributed items herself. She always returned a receipt for the goods. Need assistance in cleaning out and contributing items in the garage. Verna August 2017 I hired Sarah to help me with organization and a move. We were under a very short time constraint. Sarah assisted in organizing and packing a complete Artist Studio and more. Though “packing” for a move is not what Put It In Order does ordinarily, Sarah saw the need and without a moment’s hesitation she gathered resources, physically assisted in the packing and got the job done in record time. Not only was she under strict time constraints but I was recently out of the hospital having had spinal surgery and could do little to help. She was intuitive, insightful and responsive. I consider her the hero of a very difficult situation. Without her knowledge and professionalism I would never have been ready on time for my move. I would recommend Sarah and Put It In Order for her expertise and for seeing a need and bringing necessary resources to bare under uncommon conditions. Thank you Sarah and Put It In Order Donna August 2017 Extremely well. A real life saver in getting it organized and coordinating charitable contributions. Decluttering and preparing for move. Don July 2017 Very well. We will continue this work monthly. Sarah is helping me declutter my home, one room at a time, sorting out what to keep, toss, or donate, since I have mobility issues. She is professional but also kind, helpful, and understanding when I have difficulty making decisions. Elza July 2017 It was unbelievable that she accomplished so much in that time period. I needed a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home sorted, itemized and donated to various charities. The house and garage were packed with 20 years accumulated possessions and I was completely overwhelmed. My friend recommended Sarah and she met with me first to explain what her services entailed and how much it would cost approximately. Let me tell you, she came in and got to work with intent. My nickname for her is 'The White Tornado'! She took many loads to different charities and provided me with itemized lists for tax purposes and did it all within days. It would have taken me weeks! Kathleen April 2017 I whole heartily recommend Sarah who is PUT IT IN ORDER. Sarah did an outstanding job cleaning out our father's 25 year extremely lived in home. Sarah is a true professional and did her job, which was huge, in such a timely fashion. She is quick, concise, orderly, and she was very communicative through the entire process. My siblings and I cannot thank her enough through this very difficult transition and we could not have done this in the time frame that Sarah did this enormous job. Thank you Sarah so much for your expertise and your compassion. Mathews Family April 2017 Sarah showed up on time, helped us organized, took whatever we donated and returned a list of items and recipes. Took trash out and left when the task was done. She was quick and pleasant to work with. I would hire her again, but since she left everything is still in order and the tips she gave me still work!! She gave me back my house and now it is a home. Wanting to downsize our house and get it ready to sale. We hired Sarah to help us organized rooms that were so clattered we couldn't open the door or walk into. Yifat March 2017 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 adults makes it hard to keep everything clean and tidy, but Sarah came in and helped make our home more functional. Our laundry room, pantry, and closets now are organized and have stayed that way! She is great to work with and makes the process easy and rewarding. Thanks Sarah! Meagan Feb 2017 After years of ignoring the fact that my parents had hoarding issues, I finally convinced them to give Sarah with Put It In Order a try. She has been working with my mom for over two years now. Like the rest of the house, my parents’ kitchen and basement was filled with stuff – furniture, financial records, books, old toys, garden equipment, etc. She has transformed both the kitchen and the basement into a clutter-free environment. A year ago, my father passed away, Sarah became not only the person that helped my mom organize her house; she also became an unofficial personal assistant to her. She referred my mom to both a lawn man and a handyman that my mom continues to use. My mom no longer drives, but she still owns 3 cars, so Sarah keeps the cars running and filled with gas. Last winter, Reno had a bad storm that knocked the power out for more than a day. Sarah came over one evening to get my mom’s generator started, and she came back the next morning at 7am on a holiday to make sure it was still running. She even drove my mom home from a recent hospital stay. Sarah truly cares about her clients. She goes above and beyond and I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Shannon Jan 2017 After years of dealing with a very stubborn mother and earlier issues regarding hoarding, I reached out to Sarah in an effort to keep my sanity. Sarah was the perfect answer and handled my mother with dignity and humor. As I live in another state, I crossed my fingers and left for home hoping that all would be well. My mother continued to work with Sarah and trusted her in her home. Sarah offered to help in all sorts of ways as my mother had become disabled and needed help getting around. For all of this, I will always be grateful. My mother got the help she needed and allowed me to return home to my family! I will add that as a police officer, I trust very few people in my home, much less my disabled mother’s home. I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah for her no-nonsense approach as well as her trustworthiness and compassion! Joyce Nov 2016 I would recommend Sarah for anyone who has to clear up or clear out or just needs help organizing what they have. My son hired Sarah for us, he had heard me talking about organizing for years. Usually I would go into the garage stare a few minutes and decide it was too hot or too cold. The closets and cupboards were just daunting. And it was easy to just shut the door and proclaim that it was a process for another day. Sarah came 2x a week for 4 weeks and we now have clutter free spaces! The bedrooms, kitchen, laundry room and garage are done! We can now park a 3rd car in the garage! And I am using her method to maintain the spaces. I think what helped me the most was that she has contacts on her phone. Lots of contacts. She knew where to take broken or unused tech items, will list items if you would prefer selling them and has donation sites for specific groups. From Kiwanis to Assistance League to the computer store and the Center for Abused Women. You aren't just throwing things in the trash you feel good about cleaning out. Pat & Bob July 2016 Incredibly effective. Sarah worked with our aging parent with compassion, understanding and patience to deal with a house that was cluttered beyond hope. She was absolutely our greatest asset during a project that seemed insurmountable. I provide my highest recommendation! Reid June 2016 Sarah Feliz has accomplished a task that I did not think could be done. She has cleaned out my parents home of over 50 years. My mother finds it difficult to get rid of anything so every room was overflowing with junk as well as priceless antiques and history. Sarah has the knowledge to dispose of things in a thoughtful way and paid close attention to security issues and environmental protocols as well. She is capable of handling any sized job with efficiency and kindness. I highly recommend her as the person to get the job done! Charlene June 2016 I recently had the need to organize my apartment and had Put It In Order recommended to me. I called Sarah and set up a time for a no charge consultation. We discussed what was needed to get my place in order and made arrangements to start the process. When Sarah came over we put up pictures, organized the kitchen, organized my bedroom, and went through boxes to see what should be destroyed and what should be saved. In addition Sarah gave me ideas as to the types of storage items to get and then helped me locate them and shopped for them for me. The process was quick and easy and very reasonable. All in all the process was quick and painless within a short time I had my apartment organized my storage unit cleaned out and was able to entertain friends again. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone needing help to organize their place and get everything in order. Gordan Feb 2016 Thank you Sarah! Because of your help I got so much more than an organized house!! Before you came I had a house I was embarrassed to show, an unusable office and it was stressing me out! What a change you made – now I love my office and I have a place to work in and a house to show off! Since I’m working from home – you made my life so much better and I’m able to be efficient and enjoy my work so much more. And the greatest thing about it - no more stressing for me : ) I think for me the biggest thing about working with you was to know that when you leave the project we worked on would be done, the room would be usable and all the items we put aside for donations or trash would be gone so I could enjoy the room/space right then from the start!! You are great person to work with, always on time, organized and straight forward! The changes you made and the tips you gave me are still fresh in my head 3 months after and I feel now that I have changed my old habits and implemented the “Sarah way” in my life! Thank you!! Yifat August 2015 I first started working with Sarah in January of 2010. It was a slow start for me as organizing and cleaning up my house was something I didn’t want to do at that time. We worked together until September 2010 before I threw in the towel. We have kept in touch over the years. My life has been through a lot of changes, my husband passed away and my health hasn’t been the greatest. After moving into an Independent Community earlier this year I find myself still with my house of clutter. Sarah and I work together once a week stuffing black trash bags for donation. It is great to know that she drops them off at the place of my request. Plus she also has good knowledge of the proper donation locations. She organized a meeting with Shred It and now I have a shred bin to easily put the paperwork into. Shred It comes every 3 weeks at my request and shreds. It has worked wonders on the time we save not shredding all the paperwork that has been kept through the years. My family does not live close by and Sarah has helped me through this change in my life. My daughter was able to meet Sarah during a visit to Reno and she is comfortable how the progress is moving forward. The plan is to sell my house once the clean-up is finished. I still have a tendency to clutter so hopefully Sarah can continue to help me with this. I thank Sarah for not giving up on me and being patient as I move forward in my life. Marie August 2015 Letters to Sarah Dear Sarah,
I would certainly recommend your services as an Organizational Consultant to others. You really helped me tackle what seemed to be an overwhelming amount of chaos in my personal office. Many years of accumulated magazines, papers and personal/professional/financial records had created an enormous job of sorting and removing clutter from this space. The main assistance was two-fold: (a) teaching me the different means of getting rid of clutter – recycling, repurposing, shredding and, as a last resort, trash; and (b) how to get started and keep going. I am off to a great start and look forward to completing the task. Thanks to you, Sarah, for the encouragement and physical help to get the ball rolling. Sincerely yours, Susie Dear Sarah, I wanted to thank you for helping me reduce the mess in my office. I felt stress every time I opened the door to the office room and embarrassed if a family member wanted to use my computer and would see how disorganized I was. Why does paper mail increase as we get older and we get less able to know what we should save and what to throw away? I am following your advice and tell my friends that they should call you, when they complain to me that they are overwhelmed with their messes. Thank you again. Sincerely, Florence Northern Nevada HOPES: Sarah was a great help in organizing the 2013 Northern Nevada AIDS Walk/Run. A consummate professional Sarah is punctual, full of amazing ideas and is willing to go the extra step to help you succeed, whether it be in business or organizing your household. For this year's 5K Run, Sarah used her expertise to work with Northern Nevada HOPES on achieving the correct distance and promoting the race to fellow runners. Sarah was willing to meet several times to discuss what we needed to do to make the race a success. Having had more runners than any year previous, I would say she met both her goals and ours. Having worked with Sarah for years, I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to "put their life in order". Maintaining excellent communication, Sarah will find out what your needs and goals are and help you achieve the outcome you desire. She is very trustworthy and I would whole heartily recommend her to handle my parent's and aunt and uncles goods when they are ready to downsize. Suzy Shaffer | Community Relations Northern Nevada HOPES These are merely a few of the feelings I had when I knew everything was taken care of for my last two events. Let me remind you, this testimonial is real and if you need to hear my voice over the phone or a follow up email to reinforce what I’M ABOUT TO SAY, I encourage you to contact me because you have just come across an amazing person who will change your life. No she doesn’t have the cure for cancer but the recipe for something just as potent - organizing. Sarah Feliz cured the chaos in my life for two events I produced in August 2012 and 2013 called Expedition Man (Ironman distance triathlon). With great enthusiasm and confidence, my life became normal again knowing I could rely on a dedicated team player. From charts, phone calls, emails, to spreadsheets (I mean in depth blow your socks off spreadsheets), Sarah was the cornerstone of Expedition Man and its success. Hands down, if you can get a slice of her time, rearrange your schedule and make time to see her…I did and it made a WORLD of difference.” Ryan Kolodge Expedition Man Race Director |
