It was such a pleasure working with Sarah Feliz. She is very efficient and knows exactly how to put things in order. I now have extra space in my closet after sending some unused items to the thrift shop and some to a consignment shop. I did not have the hassle of getting rid of the items as Sarah took them to the shops. What a relief! I love opening my closet door and knowing exactly where everything is. Keeping the closet in order is a breeze now. I am so happy someone recommended Sarah’s business to me.
Marjorie Sarah is a TRUE professional! She runs her business with such focus, organization, incredible interpersonal skills, and an amazing work ethic. I never felt embarrassed to show her the messiest, most unorganized parts of my home. She is extremely reassuring and positive. No project is too big or too small for her. Sarah’s fresh perspective was just what I needed to tackle projects in my home that I kept avoiding and felt too overwhelmed to handle alone. Her pace, style, and approach to home organization were EXACTLY what I needed. I know I will use her services for years to come, as I transition from having two teenage daughters in the house, to being an empty nester. Working with Sarah and Put It In Order has truly changed my life!

She did so much more than just get us started. After I showed her around the house she jumped right in and reorganized an entire hallway of closets plus the main entry. Her tips allowed us to get both my kids rooms in order too while she was here. She is fast and efficient and friendly. She even followed up with some more ideas to help with our kitchen/office spaces. I like to think that I could do it all myself, but I couldn’t have done such an amazing job without her. I highly recommend that everyone has Sarah out to help them!
Marika In August I touched on children going back to school – I would like to continue discussing your child, their space, and their belongings. Keep your child’s life stress free with less stuff, less decisions, and less distractions. Use what they already have, wear what is in the closet, and read the books that are on the shelves.
Consider toys that will keep your children entertained for long periods of time or better yet are educational. Your kids continue to grow daily, make it easy for them to see through an uncluttered space. Dedicate (limit) a cabinet or two for their crafts, games, toys, etc. Do not overwhelm them with items in multiple spaces. Think ‘simplify’. Downsize their book library if necessary. Consider keeping only a handful of books. Set up a book library (Lending Library) in your front yard or common area in your neighborhood. This is a great way where people can leave a book and take a book. If you involve your kids, they will see the value in letting go. Downsizing, decluttering, and organizing is not an overnight fix, it is an ongoing project that takes time, attention, and dedication. Changing habits that you as a parent have grown up with takes time, think about what clutter habits you’re passing onto your children.
